Er wait a minute. She performed subg or mkia on ellen!? WHY would she perform subg when mkia is her current single? makes no sense at all??
She sings MKIA on Ellen. SUBG will be posted on Ellen's website... NOT shown on TV. Ellen loves SUBG and has asked Kelly to sing it several times throughout the years.
Yes I have. The song sounds like his style.... of course. I'm just saying the voice doesn't. Adam has some hardcore fans, I think if this demo has been around since 2009 (the site posted it dec. 1, 2009) they would have found it by now, lol.
I posted it on a Lambert fansite to find out :P
In the meantime, do you think Kelly had a hand in rewriting "What Doens't Kill You"? The first verse is tweaked and the second verse is completely different from the songwriter's demo. The second half of the bridge is rewritten too.

LOL yeah they would know.
The writers for WDKY are David Gamson, Jorgen Elofsson, Ali Tamposi. Kelly could have changed some parts like she did with IDNHU, but she's not the type to put her name on it if she just changed a few things. But she said the writers for this album really got to know her and wrote songs to fit Kelly, so they may have re-worked it a bit for her. Also, I think it's awesome that Jorgen Elofsson is one of the writers..... he co-wrote "A Moment Like This"... full circle!!

I think Kelly added her own take to it. Before it seemed like a mopey depressed song "I heard you and 2am have become best friends, you live your life in the party that never ends" and kelly added "You didn't think i'd come back, i'd come back swinging, you tried to break me but you see..."
And Yes, much like last year didn't she sing I Do Not Hook Up on Ellen to promote that, but she still sand Since U Been Gone and hit that AMAZING G5 note

Well I'd say it's more than a small change! Hopefully she got her name on it so she'd be making buck when it smashed Hope she performs it at the iHeart radio even too, like she did with IDNHU before it was officially a single @ the Walmart Soundcheck.
I really am curious if she will perform a new song besides MKIA... It would make sense to, but never know... She will of course sing MLWSWY, AG, SUBG, MKIA, and WA. Wonder if there will be time for a new one to slip in
We find out she has 9 guns and sleeps with a gun next to her, lol. The radio DJ asks her to act out like he's her bf and she found out he cheated... haha she goes, "Where's my ****? I'm gonna go". Talks about MKIA and LMD saying those songs are not really about dating relationships. Mentions LMD was inspired by a working relationship.
As a fellow Texan myself, I sleep with a shotgun under my bed. Guess we're raised a little differently, hehe
I loved that interview. Probably b/c the guy was addressing Texas stereotypes. Wow today's been lots of KC goodies that interview, Ellen performance/interview, and the sneak peek of the MKIA video And tomorrow iheart radio!! Love promo rounds!!

My bf keeps a handgun on him all the time. When I was there for a month almost everyone had a gun. It was sooo weird.
I was looking at The X-Factor (US) schedule. The live shows start Nov. 2. So Nov. 3rd (results show) is the earliest she can perform on there. Would be cool if she got to be the first guest, one week after STRONGER is released. Plus, she was the first in America, so Simon & Paula can be like hey we discovered her, lol.
