I was called virtually every gay slur in the book throughout grade school. It rarely turned into physical altercation, except once. This kid told me I was I was a disgrace to America The guy had the nerve to step on the heel of my shoes (while following me in his attempt to threaten me), so I turned around his punched him in the face. We duked it out and he never really said anything to me for the rest of my high school days. Of course his friend was quick to throw jeers at me. To be honest I bullied back at these kids, called the fat ones obese and not gonna lie harassed them [when they bothered me]. Not that I condone this behavior.

But it really is a thing of the past. I understood from day one that I had the power to make people uncomfortable. It was never my issue to deal with, but their own. Funny story, one of the guys that used to tease my best friend and me went to my university. He saw me dancing with my girl friends, in awe as he stood alone; then he introduced himself to me, ask if we went to the same school, and acted all nice. Then I turned away and laughed with my friends.

Bullying as described on here wasn't common in my area. The girls in my area just talked a lot of **** in which I also took part.

There was also this kid who always called me the F-word () even when I wasn't bothering him so I guess that was the closest I've been to ever being bullied. Turns out he was recently drafted by the Cincinnati Reds. Dumb ass bitch.

TBQH I probably dished out more bullying than I received. When I was in middle school this kid joined my clique and I was jealous so when we dissected worms in science class I took worm poop and put it in his hair. We're friends now so I guess he doesn't hate me. Plus there were these lame ass mentally ill kids riding our bus in 8th grade and they always tried to sit with us and this one chipmunk-looking boy ran home and cried to his mama that we called him a chipmunk and his mama called the school and tried to get my friends and me suspended. He eventually grew up and became cool but his two other friends are still uglee, pasty, fat gorillas and no one likes them so I don't feel bad for making fun of them.

EDIT: Oh and I had this neighbor who me and my friend used to not like. We never made fun of him to his face but he used to follow us around our neighborhood with a hockey stick and we just weren't here for that ****.

I use to cut myself from the pain of bullying and another personal problem I had.

I tried to kill myself with sleeping pills once. That failed. I woke up in my closet, realized I had cut.

I'm honestly glad I survived that, cuz if I hadn't, I wouldn't have made some of the friends I have.

And to anyone who's gonna try and say I'm just being an attention ***** with that, no, I'm not. Dun attack.

Yes, they do.
Mostly the seniors do it, but pretty much kids from all the older 3 years fire off those coins at the freshman when they come in the door.

I could never cut. I hated pain. I still do. That's why I couldnt ever see myself harming myself to go away from this world. If I had known about sleeping pills I probably would have done that too, but I didnt. Most of the time, I wrote to get rid of my pain.

I don't know why people always think of using sleeping pills as a non-painful way of killing themselves. It's really not effective.

People threw things at me in the cafeteria whenever I went to eat lunch with my gradelevel. I haven't ate lunch for 2 years because I was either hiding in the bathroom or in the library. I was always pointed at pushed, I always heard them talking about me "trying to be discreet". I had to pretend I had a hearing problem in an attempt not to be provoked with a rebuttal. People have said horrible things about me. People make fun of me because my brother died. I've talked to 3 guidance counselors and never want to go back after the last one tried to have me in psychiatric help when I told him I bite my lip a lot because of stress. I've cut myself before but stopped in fear of getting caught by my Doctor during a physical. It's come to the point that I like to feel the pain and feel and I'm protected by it. People push me to lockers all the time but I'm not bothered because these experiences gave me a chance to grow up,focus on my grades and my maturity is well beyond my years. I'm almost grateful for the experience.

dont feel bad, I almost took the pills to rest in peace. i decided not to do it because i didnt want to hurt my family in that way.

When I was being bullied for liking pop artists I fought with them. they suspect I was gay but I never came out while being in school, I always got teased by that, so much discrimination.

It was hard because even the teacher said liking Madonna means = being gay! that dick humilliated me and some friends in front of the class one time.
