Some of these stars probably hate their first single because even though they made it a long time ago people still bringing up instead of talking about their current music. Some of these artists were even at different points in their life. Xtina was 17 when she did Genie. Do you really think a 30 year old would like that song now?

She HATES it but she just can't stop singing it... and she know this. It was the most requested song in the Sticky & Sweet Tour. She didn't complain a single time.

Apart from the Madonna not liking "material girl" and slash disliking "SCOM" I believe Gwen Stefani disliked the self titled no doubt album because "it didn't go anywhere" she said that during the vh1 storytellers episode. And I think alanis morissete is the opposite, she clings to jagged little pill, and doesn't acknowledge her other albums. I hear for her tours, the majority of the songs are from JLP, and the rest are 1-2 from her other albums. Oh and she doesn't claim her first 2 pop albums, at all.
