another snub from MTV, this time Europe

I am getting more and more convinced that labels are paying MTV to promote artists... no way Katy/Gaga/Beyonce/Lopez or anyone sold more/had a bigger tour/ more impact than Rihanna in Europe. The only competition should have been Adele.

Well for these noms I believe they are just following the charts from the US rather than the local

U know there may be another simple reason why Rihanna got snubbed.
MTV or organisators surely contact artists and ask them if they come to the awards show. If they say yes, they give them some nominations. If they say no, they give them only one nomination or no nominations - and no win of course.
Rihanna probably said them no, because she is on Loud tour at that time (not exactly that day, but she would have to rehearse the performance one day before), so they didn't nominate her (aka they gave her only 1 nom where she won't win anyway)

Mtv is pressed upon rihanna because she dragged them once. it doesn't change the fact she's the biggest name in the world music wise (apart from gaga). They can stay mad for all i care, i stopped using them a long time ago

I don't think they would let win someone who is not on the show even if the artist had overwhelming majority of votes. These fan voted categories are always a mess. Look at MMVAs.

OG didn't slay me at first. I though the verse and chrous production didnt fit together and that it sounded like too separate songs but once I got use to it, it was epic.

I just know once this new single is released that there's gonna be let downs and messes around here but in the end everyones gonna <3 it
