EDIT:: not top 1000 yet, but if you look at the teenage dream album on iTunes, the popularity bar for TOTGA is rising, it's already above California gurls
Why is everybody complaining about Hummingbird Heartbeat not being the last single ?! I have absolutely no clue why everyone loves that song so much !!! It's the most generic track off the whole album for Christ's sake ! Why Katy even let that track make it to the album in the first place is beyond me ! TOTGA is absolutely PERFECT. The bittersweet instrumental, the bittersweet lyrics, everything is absolutely perfect for a Fall release. Peacock could've done good as a single, and I would've liked a visual for that song, but it would've been so heavily censored that it might've not even been worth the shot.

I think Pearl is the most generic song on TD. To everything rose you said, I agree though.
I hope this song gets the remix treatment from the get-go a la "ET." Ke$ha should be on it.
