Last weekend, I ended up starting a fan-fiction Final Destination story. Tons of people have bitched at me about writing a horror story with this as the opening disaster, but the big disaster at the beginning would be the destruction of the Twin Towers
Here's just... a whole synopsis for what I have planned for the story
It opens to Chloe Reynolds, an employee for Marsh & McLennan Companies going into the tower. She stops at one of the 90'ish floors in the North Tower, and says hi to her friend/coworker Jonathan McCarthy. She goes up to the 100th floor, and gives coffee to her coworkers Kate Michaels, Ira Jameson, and her boyfriend Chris Hudson. She goes to her little desk and her boss, Michael Leone, gives her something to work on. Ira heads off to the elevator.
She calls her college friend, Jane, and asks to borrow a pair of her shoes. Jane comes to the tower to drop off the shoes, and then, the first plane hits the tower, right where Jonathan was, killing him instantly. Ira, in the elevator, was killed next due to the support cables being sliced. The floor below Chloe and her coworkers caves in, and Jane falls with it. The ceiling begins to cave in as well, and a piece crushes Michael. Chloe ends up falling down the hole that Jane fell through, but holds on. The floor slightly tilts, allowing her own desk to hit her and knock her down. A mini-explosion in the office sends Chris flying through a window, and after a while, the tower collapses with Kate in it.
(Making the death order as follows: Jonathan, Ira, Jane, Michael, Chloe, Chris then Kate).
Kate wakes up as Chloe gives her a coffee, realizing that it was a dream (premonition). Kate starts to see some things happen that happened in the premonition, and she gets Chloe, Chris, Ira and Michael to come with her. They go down a few floors and grab Jonathan, then run into Jane at the bottom floor.
The 7 of them flee to a little cafe a bit away, and Kate tries to explain what happened... Right then, the planes actually hit the towers, and freaking everyone out.
A couple days later, Jonathan is cooking in his home... A gas explosion kills him instantly, as death moves on to Ira.
Kate and the others go to Jonathan's funeral, and they all mourn, naturally.
Ira, at a baseball game with Jane, Chloe and Chris, was going nuts. A bat ends up being split during one hit, and the split piece flies towards Ira, impaling him in the head and traumatizing everyone there.
Chloe heads to therapy, explaining about how they "survived on a miracle" but were "starting to die" again. Just then, she gets a call from Kate about the death order, and that Jane might be next. Kate, Michael and Chris arrive at the building, and Chloe gets into the car as they drive off to Jane's school.
Jane's taking an archery class, which happens to be right next to a small cliff. At the bottom of the cliff is a rope climbing course. Jane gets a call from Kate about how she's in danger, but Jane ignores it. Right as she hangs up on Kate, the arrows are fired and one ends up impaling Jane in the neck. Kate and the others arrive just then, and Chloe runs towards Jane freaking out. Jane panics, and ends up falling down the cliff, getting hung by the various ropes in the course.
That night, Chloe is at Chris' house, finding comfort in him about the death of the others. She gets a call from Michael to meet him at the top of this warehouse nearby (Sketchy, indeed). Not knowing better, she complies, and runs to visit him.
There, he explains an idea that if someone who wasn't next to die died anyway, that it might break the chain. He pulls a gun on Chloe, and she panics. Before arriving, she called Kate to meet her there, so Kate was on the way.
Chloe begs Michael not to kill her, and she runs up to him, snatches the gun, and shoots him in the chest. He begins to bleed, but not die yet, and she stumbles off the top of the 15-story warehouse... She lands right in the back of Kate's car, surviving by a miracle but horribly injured. Kate, freaked out by Chloe suddenly landing on her car, crashes the car into the side of the warehouse, sending Chloe flying into another building, crushing her skull and breaking her neck.
Kate gets out of the car and sees Chloe dead. She cries, and right then, Michael falls onto her windshield, dead, causing Kate to faint.
The next day, Chris accidentally hits someone with his car, killing them and saving himself.
Kate's in the shower after this happens, and she ends up slipping, clogging the drain, and going unconscious from the blunt trauma of hitting her head on the bathtub, resulting in her drowning in her own dayum bathtub
Chris visits her, only to find her dead... Confirming that he has survived death.

My ideal cast for the main characters would be: Rick Malambri as Jonathan McCarthy. Cam Gigandet as Ira Jameson. Kate Hudson as Jane Alm. Robert Downey Jr as Michael Leone. Emma Roberts as Chloe Reynolds. Chris Evans as Chris Hudson, and Nicole Kidman as Kate Michaels.
