'Blow' wasn't a collaboration between two super popstars and will sell more than Telephone.

1) Telephone had no promo for it besides the video
2) No the hell it won't.
3) Even if it somehow does (it won't), you'd still be pressed over the fact it peaked higher on the Hot100

That's a fact, Telephone didn't meet expectations.

It was the fourth biggest single of the year worldwide after Tik Tok, BR, and LTWYL, selling more than even California Gurls. Points for tryin it, though.

This thread is about US sales, not WW sales. And do you need to put a gif in every post?

US sales are only one piece of the pie. You can't say a song underperformed selling so much worldwide.
And yes, it's a law.

And it met expectations and more, ask the awards + critics. I wonder when Blow will get that...if at all

"Blow" did great in the US though. But like all her songs after TT, outside the US its performance was tepid.

Maybe, but AGAIN this thread is about US sales. And, according to me, this song didn't meet expectations here.
Besides, according to Mediatraffic, Telephone didn't sell 6M WW and is #8 at their Year-End chart (CG, LTWYL, HSS, TT, Airplanes, Dynamite and BR did better).

I agree, Blow did very poorly outside the US and Australia. But why are we talking about Blow? This thread is about Telephone.

Mediatraffic uses points, not sales. IFPI is the only official source for worldwide single/album sales.

I said it must have sold at least 7.5-8m by now since it was 7.4m as of November 2010 and it has sold an additional 0.4m copies in the US alone since then.
It ain't rocket science.
