Her fans want to have fun and dance to great dance songs, videos and performances. They don't want a preachy self-help religious lesson told by a witch in spikes.
Doesn't this just prove that her fans want different things? There was bound to be fans upset by Born This Way, but I wouldn't go as far as to say what I bolded. Your statements are coming off a bit too declarative and you're far from being able to speak for a whole fan base.
This post was unnecessary. Nicole definitely exaggerates sometimes with her negativity, but she's not just trolling this thread. She doesn't like the BTW era and that's all. She's only expressing her points of view and her arguments, just like you and she was never rude with you.
(Ironic that after knowing Nicole a little more I'm dfending her now when I attacked her after 2 or 3 days that I arrived here)

It comes from insecurity. I'd put money on Nicole being post 30 and still living in rented accomodation or having some kind of disfigurement or confidence problem. I am a great judge of character.
Everything Nicole ever posts is garbage and always has been. I dunno with me I see what Gaga has achieved and it inspires me to me be ambitious and make something of myself. I can't understand haters that project their insecurities onto her and post relentless negativity for entertainment. I understand this is a discussion forum...but Nicole never DISCUSSES anything...it's just negative, negative, negative. I have encountered a few unpleasant , negative people in my life...but they had mental health problems and it was down to mood problems...where as Nicole is just naturally negative all the time. It's just Nicole's personality. I'd love to meet you in person...you probably make Christina Aguilera or Diana Ross look like warm personable human beings.
Only 2 things stood out:

2. If Gaga learns to keep her ego in check, she'll come back full force. But only if she realizes that she's not the world's savior. Only if she recognizes that she's just a pop tart who can't dance, with a pretty good voice and some OK lyrics. Christina's ego DESTROYED her...and it wasn't until she sucked it up and signed to something that I'm sure she considered wayyy beneath her (reality TV) that things slowly began to turn around for her. You know that must have been like someone machine gunning her ego, but she'd fallen so hard it was the only way to get back up. Perhaps it will take a Christina-level fall for Gaga to learn, but I hope she has the common sense to turn things around before then.
He wants it... Same goes for ALLOT of her fanbase, so that is NOT a great summery.
I love Gaga's religious songs (Bloody Mary, Judas).
They're actually my favorite (Along with BR/ALEJANDRO/TEOG, and others).
But for singles, I realize they aren't the most tactful choices.
So, I will agree that is not exactly a great summary.
I think most of her fanbase just weren't ready for the transition. Even on The Fame, her songs had some kind of depth to them. There aren't many pure fun party jams on any of her albums.
Like, perhaps my articulation is wrong on this, and please forgive me for what I'm about to reference....
I think what most of her fanbase want/need are just a fun goofy song. I'd like another album of Gaga's to be just about having a good time.
I don't have to have one of course, but that's why I listen to other artists like Ke$ha as much as I do: because Gaga doesn't have songs like that.

You are only just noticing this now? It's the core of Nicole's personality...when you have achieved nothing in your real life you sometimes like to take on an authorative tone in your online one.

Things have turned around for her? She was just as cold and unlikable as ever on The Voice...I don't think it benefited her at all....she was despised on imdb. Maroon 5 have got a number 1 record...she's just a feature. It would have been a hit without her. She's far from made her comeback.
Gaga's well liked in the music industry...she never shades other artists and people in the industry constantly talk about her amazing work ethic and passion and how down to earth she is in person. Christina meanwhile has been notorious for her vile personality for years...hence the reason the press jumped on her when Bionic tanked. I don't see any comparison between them.

I didn't go that far, girl. I enjoy what Nicole has to say, I just don't enjoy how she says it sometimes. I'm positive everyone in this thread has the same hopes for Gaga's success, however they may translate it, whether it be praising her, critiquing her, posting iTunes updates, or bumping the request post.
