You know what, I want to be wrong. Nothing would make me happier than BTW getting the commercial success it deserves.
What do you think should be the next single?

I don't think she needs to even think about a re-release. She needs to release another dance track (it's been since Born This Way (the single) was released since we've had dance GaGa on the radio) ... MTN or Schiesse should fix that). Releasing BM and HML would help too, IMO since both are unlike anything else GaGa has released (and fit better on pop radio than Y&I).

Scheiße, HML, GH, Bloody Mary and Americano. I don't care how they will do, but she needs to make videos for them and show the public the experimental side of BTW.

Americano is all risk and no payoff imo, unless she makes a vid jumping across the border helping people get into America.
Government Hooker yes, very RISKY since it can be either boring, AMAZING, or earrape at times, but the sexual controversy is worth the risk. A video of her crossing all lines as the Queen HOOKAH **** would do well.

I think the last pop album to sell 10m WW without a re-release (excluding throwback acts like Adele/Amy or rock influence like James Blunt) was BEP back in 2005. As time marches on it gets harder and harder to do, unless you're Adele.
Neither TF nor TFM would have passed 10m copies on their own, so I'm not sure why that's a reasonable benchmark of expectation for BTW.
People really need perspective as to how albums typically sell globally. Anything above 6-7m is basically cream of the crop.

I still don't understand how some of her fans don't get that it's a compliment that she sells less singles than albums. Albums cost more money! People buy into gaga and connect with as an artist so they don't mind spending money on a whole album rather than just a single. It's a good thing.

"Happier"...you don't seem like a happy person at all. I've read through your posts and you never say anything positive. I've thought you were a troll in disguise for a while...maybe you are just quite a pessimistic person? I think positive and always look forward always. I'd hate to think you are as down in real life as you are on here.

^^Love the metamorphosis of the Viva Glam Gaga into the BTW Viva Glam Gaga. With the horns you either love or hate them, and that's what make them so good and iconic of this era. She needs to do more, but BETTER horn looks.

She can do it during the time her next album comes out...when it re charts as that album takes off. If she can do 6.5m by the end of this year...then 9m by the end of next year...I'm sure you can do 10m+ eventually. Honestly...you can hold me to it. I promise. She might not reach it crazy quick like Adele but she can do it.

I partly agree. She should definitely release another dance track or two. MTN and Scheisse are perfect. But I feel that after a certain point, when you approach a 6th, and 7th single ... albums just stop selling. The fans already have their copies, and new fans will simply buy the singles. I think at some point a re-release is her best way to go.

I can endorse this. Whereas TF/TFM had an overarching theme, BTW has seemed rather sloppy. The whole "Born This Way" theme seems to have gone out the window as soon as the single started falling. Nothing about this era has been truly as memorable as anything she did with TF/TFM (single-wise and performances-wise). I honestly think the release of Judas really messed up the entire era. When that under achieved it through the whole schedule off. TEOG was rush released, making it her third single released before the album (who is she, Lil Wayne?) Of course hindsight is 20/20, but if we could go back in time, I think Y&I would have been a much better choice for 2nd single and would have lead to a more stable era from GaGa.

10m is desirable for the album of the decade.

Sorry guys, but 10M is just too much imo. I think he can reach 7.5M - 8M, but 10, it doesn't seem too likely tbh unless she pulls what imo would be the PERFECT single choices:
5th (winter season): Marry The Night.
6th (from March to May or June): Hair (very commercial song).
7th (from May or June to September): regional singles. Scheisse in Europe (where it would be a hit) and Americano in America (this could be really big in Latinamerica and do fine in the US).
8th and last single: (from October to the end of the era): a risky song like GH or HML.
If she does this, then she can reach 10M WW, but if she releases Bad Kids, HU, or a bonus, I think it's unlikely.

I am not going to have Europe having Scheisse and America having Americano.
No, no, no.
Americano will only do well in like Mexico.
It's just not a song that US radio is going to pick up.
ALEJANDRO is among her weakest airplay singles in the US and you want to release its lessor brother AMERICANO?
No, no no!
Scheisse can do for both Europe and America.

I concentrate on enjoying her brilliantly improved vocals this era and listening to what is a brilliantly creative, daring and exciting pop album rather than endlessly over analysing a few minor mistakes.

I am hoping one day Gaga has a Diamond album in the US(spec. in this age where no one buys CDs anymore).
Look on the brightside, The Fame is Diamond. In France.
