Judas-TEOG was far too quick. That's why Judas underperformed. In the US, it didn't get much radio support, but most stations outside the US had just started playing it when TEOG was released, and their playlists gravitated to the newest Gaga song. Arguably, the video for Y&I came a bit too soon as well. I think the next single will be handled properly, though. TEOG was originally just an iTunes Countdown single. Considering Judas did slow on radio, had leaked and dropped a bit they just decided to continue with TEOG.
