I get that we gays have been bullied to death by straight people because of our sexuality.
However this completely trivializes the bullying straight kids go through, some of which is at the hands of gay children.
At my old high school, I'd heard plenty a queen tear down a girl for being fat, or ugly. I'm tired of the entire gay community playing victim, because while A LOT of us are (I've had death threats etc. It sucks), there are some assholes who are NO BETTER than the bullies that they rally against.
Now are these straight people bullied for their sexuality? No. However, that doesn't mean that all gay kids are bullied for being gay. There are plenty of other reasons. When I was taunted when I was little, it was for being nerdy, or for having glasses (I know, such a cliche), or being bigger. In junior/high school, I basically stepped my **** up, and started accentuating my positive qualities. When I came out, there was very little backlash other than the aforementioned death threat, and a couple times where people would shout "******" at me.
Basically, I feel that this website is insensitive to all the straight people who have committed suicide after being bullied, and I felt like sharing my thoughts with you.

I actually agree. Being bullies for your sexuality is no worse than being bullied for any other pointless reason IMO. Still horrible, obviously, but still.

Mhmm. I'm all for stopping the bullying of LGBTTIQQ youth, but we should be focusing on ending ALL bullying.
I find it a bit ironic that we're discussing bullying on ATRL though
We're all scary, catty, evil, horrible, scumsucking people (myself included)
But in all seriousness, I think that the constant "dragging" that happens here doesn't make us look the best when we want to talk about something like bullying. Obviously the things we post here don't mean much to us, but it just looks funny IMHO

Nothing that goes on on this site is true bullying. If someone feels victimized, that's what the "sign out" button is for.

I just found out today my favorite Manager is leaving our store.. He's like my absolute Best Friend, like more than a Manager to me.. Im crying soo ****en much right, it KILLS me tobsee this guy leave cuz I know I might not ever see him again.
I don't know what's going on in this room, but for the past two days, my nose starts to feel stuffed up and my throat starts to hurt when I'm in here...but in any other part of the house, I'm fine.
