Nope, I'm with you It just seems certain others won't be impressed until she pulls out some weeks with Adele numbers... I am happy to see the album to do well. At this rate, she'll hit 5M in 8 or 9 weeks, which takes us into the middle of November. Even a dip in sales should see her hit that mark by December. Then she should (hopefully) pull some good Christmas numbers

Her album sales are wonderful. The album is stil in the Top 10 worldwide chart after four months. How on earth can that be a bad thing?? People who are slating her album sales really are clueless.
Why? The Fame (Monster) spent two years in the top reaches of the Year-End UWC charts and will probably end up on this years. Born This Way is still young. You guys need to give it more time.

Some fools don't seem to realise that Adele's sales are actually a phenomonen. Those kind of sales only happen once every few years. GaGa's sales are absolutely fantastic, especially considering that she was experiencing a minor backlash when it was released, mostly because she wasn't the "cool new artist anymore". She has weathered it out and to be on 4.5m sales after just 4 months is a fantastic result. Anyone who says otherwise clearly doesn't know anything about record sales in 2011.

I mean with after 3 #1 singles, what were the weekly WW sales for Loud when it was at 4.5?
After 16 weeks, TF had sold 1.482.000 copies.
After 16 weeks, TFM (Deluxe) + TFM (EP) had sold 4.921.000 copies. This included sales throughout the Christmas period.
After 16 weeks, BTW has sold 4.452.000 copies, all of which were sold during months which normally see low album sales.
I have never complained about her WW numbers or even her US numbers. I think they are pretty impressive considering all the other "pure pop" artist out. Katy/Britney/Rihanna and Bey aren't selling like the end of the world is tomorrow either. I think that speaks more about the current state of music(or POP music) to be completely honest. If Adele is the ONLY bitch pulling those numbers its clear she has tapped into something the other artist are incapable of . I'm happy for her(Adele) and impressed by how BTW is performing. Can we compare TF(M) to BTW, in terms of week-week sales?
