Did you even watch them? If You Think This Song Is About You, It Probably Is...is dark, and disturbing, and so is If You Left Me, and Howlin For You has a perfect cinematic feel that would go great with Criminal. Not to mention, Britney's budget is about 5 times the budget of other people he works with.
And Criminal wouldn't even go with a dark or sad video to begin with, it's a carefree love song to me. People are taking the "Criminal" aspect, too literal.
But anything is better than going medieval with it ...so corny.
So am I honey <3 I love you ahaha, I bet Shakira is gonna sell tons of DVDs in Europe while BRitney will sell most of hers in USA, as usual ahaha at least they dont go up against eachother directly!

So true!! And for once the critics LOVED a Britney video across the board. When EW can pay Britney a compliment, without any backhandedness, surely that says something!

I thought the IWG video was cute, but nothing special. I will say it steered away from your typical video of Britney (minus the press thing). There is a reason the video didn't receive any VMA nominations....#justsaying
I much prefer if Britney never works with that music director again, no shade to him, but he doesn't cut it for me and I think Britney is capable of better.
I think he would be the PERFECT choice for this music video. I love Joseph Kahn, but this type of song doesn't fit the bill of what I like that he puts out there for Britney. David knows how to make great slow/mid-tempo songs into amazing videos.
He also knows how to create dark, sad, or depressed direction in his work. I'm all for it, MAKE IT HAPPEN TEAM BRITNEY!!!!

well bc TTWE was a bigger hit at the time, the video came out like 2/3 days b4 the cut off time and that they aren't goin to nominate all of Brits videos for the same categories.
