I meant in as the song ****ing sucks, just like SoL. She just didn't pull that song off at all. Those cheesy ass lyrics.... chyle. Same thing with Never Over. it's just a mediocre track. The fact that she included that one when she could have switched it with one of the bonus tracks is beyond me. But it's her music I guess
Look. The reason why SOL and SO aren't good is that Bey doesn't sound credible singing them imo. Anyone who has studied or can recognize Bey's writing will be able to tell that she had little to no involvement in writing these songs. SOL especially. I keep waiting for Bey's opus, but it still hasn't arrived. She has standout tracks on every album(1+1, OH MY GOD), but maybe with the exception of B'Day, there are several songs that are pure filler. Hopefully her next one will be her opus, her masterpiece. But between Start over, BTINH and RDY, 4 just isn't that album. They're all alright tracks but they're nothing outstanding.

I know she does it out of the goodness of her heart and she wants her albums to be diverse but tbh the best albums aren't all that diverse. When is she gonna serve us her own TWOTW? I know it's coming I just hope it's soon, I know she has it in her.
