She won't use him because Francis would disagree with something.
She and Francis clashed on Bad Romance, but the difference is that Gaga was still at lessor level when she was filming Bad Romance. She disagreed with a few things, but was willing to compromise, out of fear of losing such a talented director.
Bad Romance propelled her into the Trinity (I seriously can't believe after only THREE ****ING YEARS she's a Trinity member), and she started exercising her artistic freedom with Steven Klein. After that turned into a mess, she surrounded herself with yes men, yes women, and yes kacks. We all know the story.
Gaga will go back to him though. In due time.
