One of the only reasons it was similar to Madonna was 'cause of Steven, the director. He and Madonna have practically the same artistic style. Though I do not believe it was an homage. D:
I still think Alejandro is a masterpiece and it hurts my pure heart and soul to know that some people stopped liking her because of it.
