Awful video. Her best song in ages though. It's so gonna flop thanks to this mess.

It goes through the stages she went through when she divorced Deryck. First she is numb/ in denial. She feels nothing hence why she smiles. Then she gets slightly pissed off/angry and burns something so beautiful which is also the symbol of their marriage. After this it hits her, and she compliments him "I love the way you are" and realises what she's missing - she's actually devastated. The bath scene represents her dealing with the marriage, cleansing herself from all the hurt and emotional trauma she went through.... after she is finished with dealing with it, she walks towards the light - an open window... it's a new start, a different journey.
This VIDEO represents the album. Simple, stripped back. This should have been the 1st single and first video. Sitting on the floor all the video and still flawless!

The video represents the song perfectly and it's a genuine, meaningful video. The concept is amazing.
No one expected flashing lights, we only expected her at least to try to interpret a storyline.

I think this video allows the song to remain as general and wide-reaching as the lyrics itself. The only other way to have done that would be to go with a WYG-style video and I don't think many fans would have liked that.
They wanted her puking up tequila in the bath tub looking a damn mess like Ke$ha does in the Tik Tok video. God forbid someone use a bath for it's actual use
