It's not like Rihanna is a 3-second feature in Live Your Life or Love the Way You Lie, either.

Wat's ur point? she's still a featured artist?

It's not like Live Your Life and Love The Way You Lie are rihanna's songs. They're T.I and Eminem.

so sit down!!

[RihMark]

And 4 of Mariah's #1 songs have featured artists, so whoever said she had NO featured #1's was wrong.

#1s are not the bee all and end all, but they do mean something and should not be written off so easily. The Beatles, Elvis and Mariah have had the most #1s and they are all legends. The music industry is all about impact and sales. You don't hear of any flops being considered legends.

They should if that's all you've got. Which is the case here.

And how did those songs so happen to also be #1 on POP?

Please count up Eminem and Ti #1S On pop radio and compare to rihanna

[enchanted0]

yes. looks like rihanna's team and rihanna really care about #1 record.

You implied that Rihanna's features were 3 seconds long and that she didn't deserve those #1 credits, when in fact she did.

Well the good sis Billboard gives Rhianna credit, and regardless if Mariah's were mostly solo, and Rihanna has a great number of features they all count as a #1 at the end of the day.

As blunt as you were, that was such a ****ing good point

Album sales!
How do you like her 5.5 million albums and counting with Loud for instance? After 9 months

How about $22.5 million from 24 shows so far this year , and 20-30 more dates to be added in Oceania and Asia?

In a way it could be 4, but Trey isn't credited for I'll Be There(even though he probably should have). That's most likely what they mean.

It doesn't matter. At least Billboard doesn't think it does.

they do. while mariah had not hits off charm bracelet and still went platinum and WW 2.5 million. Memoirs went gold. shows you that mariah is not desperate for #1s

Having an artist featured on YOUR song is different from being featured on another artist's song, though.

Trey Lorenz is featured on IBT. Jay-Z is featured on Heartbreaker. Joe & 98 Degrees are featured on Thank God I Found You. One Sweet Day has Boyz II Men, which can be considered as a duet.

ALL of Mariah's #1s feature her as the MAIN artist except for OSD b/c that's a duet and with duets, the performance is equally distributed.
