People just have breakdowns about Britney's sales because they compare them to the other girls who are selling more than her right now. They just fail to realize that these girls are at their peaks right now, whereas Britney's peak was a while ago and she sold more then than these others ever will.

We should all be happy that she's still able to compete with the current trends.

Exactly. ALL of them are at their peaks, and the oldest in the bussiness is Rihanna and she just has 6 years in it. GaGa, Katy, and Ke$ha have 3 years. Nicki 2. Britney has 13... THIRTEEN. 4 times the years that most of them have in the indusrty, and she's still considered competition.

That's what irks me. Britney is basically ******** on many girls in the industry without lifting her finger. In my opinion, her music today has grown deeper and is better than her old work. Imagine Britney, the impeccable force that she was in 2004, promoted Womanizer, Circus, Hold It Against Me and Till The World Ends in her old classic way, full of energy, hardcore choreography, interviews, her cute personality everywhere. With today's digital force, and the Intenet's power, she would be ******** DIARRHEA on the other girls. But I've accepted that she will probably never do the same today, and I'm happy with the music & videos.

Yeah I get what you mean. It drives me crazy sometimes that people out there don't even know how many fabolous songs she's had on the last couple of albums. Whenever I play her recent songs for my friends (and force them to listen) they love them, and I'm sure so many more would, but they never get the chance. The radio play Britney's singles a little bit here, but it's not really anything compared to the other girls. It really frustrates me because I really think Britney's music is better. Sure it's a personal opinion and everybody's taste is different but Femme Fatale really is a non-filler album of great quality that could be so much bigger if just promoted.

But then again I'm just so happy that Britney is better and that she seems to be doing okay and enjoying her life again. In the end that's all that really matters to me and it's just icing on the cake that she keeps putting out amazing music as well.
