I know! There was no way to win. Usually a natural disaster would come by and destroy my city. If not, then they would bitch and moan about how everything I was doing was pissing them off. I want to play the game experience, but I was feeling like a real politician at some points

Yes! lol That's the perfect way to describe it. And at the natural disasters, I didn't know they could happen spontaneously. The volcano was my favorite.

Don't know if any of your gurls have heard of Curtis Paradis on YouTube, but he makes some beautiful houses and even does requests/polls. His videos are of the whole building and design process and then he uploads them to the Community site. I'll link if interested. AND no I am not him doing self promo

I have The Sims 3 on PS3 (and did not like it, all up I've probably only played it for a couple of hours).

After playing the PC version today, I can see they made a mess of the console version. It is 100 times better on PC The custom content is gonna look amazing

I know right! I only rented the console version for the trophies because I thought they were going to be easy...ended up getting about 60% of them because some were damn difficult. Lol. The Mac/PC version is LIFE and will stay flawless.

I remember back when there was no aging and comparing the older games to the newer ones almost makes me cry to see how far we've come.

Alright, I caved and fired up my old family on the Sims 3. And I quickly remembered why I stopped Its the mother, father, and their three teenage children. Its really hard controlling five sims at once.

I can't do any more than 4. 2 is an ideal amount. 5 is

What speed do y'all play at? I HATE when it goes fast, it confuses me. lol. I have to have it at 1 (slowest speed) unless it's night or they're at work, then it's at 3.

I had a friend that always played it at 3, with whole families, and it made my head hurt

I clicked on to some pre-made family on The Sims 3, the baby was crying but the mother was just ignoring it and continued typing on her laptop and then some GHOST appeared and started taking care of the kid. I was like WTF

I am so ignorant to all the new features on The Sims 3

Oh no. I ONLY do speed 3(This the most), 2, and pause. My sister is like you, always playing at speed 1. I do not have the patience for that lol

I stay on 3 while they are running around doing things but I'll pause it or put it on one if I'm clicking on things for them to do. I never have seen the point of the fourth one honestly.

LMFAOOOOO this had me literally rolling on the floor clapping my hands. You can also play as the ghost for a couple of days before they finally go away. The first time I did it, it was odd

No, its just the way I play lol. I usually pause it, queue up the actions that I want my sims do, press 3 and just let them go. I only slow up when something significant is happening, otherwise I do not need to sit there and watch them pee and eat.
