I was wrong, 4 of my points expired today, so I'm safe for tonight....
but I've just been thinking about this era and how... mediocre it's be via promotion. I think Britney's doing a good job of trying to give the fans what they want but I've been left hungry with everything Britney's done this era! It's not the performances or her energy, it's just how minimalistic everything is. I was thinking about it, I spend at least an hour every day voting for every station in the US for I Wanna Go (that will play it). I've bought 6 copies of Femme Fatale for myself. 10 copies of TTWE + the video and remix EP and the same for IWG. All I really want is one thing that really shows that really shows that all of the fans hard work is respected and not just another dollar in the labels pocket.
Gaga, Katy Perry, Rihanna, Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato and Ke$ha should all be taking the stage. I understand the whole "dancer tribute" thing, but that's weak to me. That's not iconic. Britney's not Michael Jackson. Her career isn't defined by choreography. Her choreography isn't particularly iconic. That's why I'm not here for that... I just have a feeling I've already hyped myself up for MTV to put together this smashing tribute and I'm going to be left hungry again.
I love Britney so much and she deserves so much more than a ****** dancer only tribute.
