‘Glee’ season 3 spoilers: new character talk; a ‘Finchel’ kiss
They look to be together.
In this latest batch of speculation from the third season of “Glee” (which will officially be on television this September), the focus is going to be all over the place — both on the familiar as well as the brand-new.
First, let’s begin with something we were all hoping would happen eventually — a “kiss” between Rachel and Finn! Lea Michele confirmed the romantic news in a post on Twitter:
Quote:
“First Rachel and Finn kiss of Season 3…So cute!!! Except @CoryMonteith did you have to eat the peanut butter sandwich??”

It seems as though the conflict for “Finchel” this year is not going to be so much on them being together, but how they are going to plan out their future together after the show. Considering everything we have heard, odds are they will be taking off to New York to start a life there (and possibly have a spin-off).
When it comes to one of the new characters of the season, we have this quote (via E!) from Jane Lynch about Sue Sylvester working with Vanessa Lengies’ Sugar — a girl who comes from money, but can’t carry a tune to save her life:
Quote:
“I will interact with Vanessa. She plays Sugar Manta. She’s hilarious! I heard her recording today and saw her perform it. Ah-ooh. That’s all I’m gonna say. Ah-ooh.”

5 'Glee' Season 3 Spoilers Sure to Get You Stoked
1. Santana's becoming captain of the Cheerios. The only problem? Apparently, she's got a co-captain, and that person isn't exactly ecstatic to be sharing the responsibilities with her. Is it Quinn? Could she be reverting to her mean girl ways?
2. Blaine's transferring. OK, so it's not 100 percent official. But with Sam gone, there's a new spot open for a male in glee club. The rumor is that Kurt's spending a good portion of his time during the season premiere trying to get his boyfriend to transfer to McKinley. Blaine's a romantic, isn't he? He's totally gonna transfer. I just know it.
3. Mike and Tina meet the parents. Mike and Tina have been the couple going the strongest for a while now, so it's only natural for the next step. Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina) told TV Guide, "We're going to see how they feel about Tina not being in a traditional Asian family, because she was adopted." Oooh, depth. I like. I'm hoping these personal stories, which we saw first with Sam last season, develop for a bunch of the gleeks this season.
4. Rachel and Finn are staying strong. Thank GOD! Finchel is my all-time fave. Lea Michele says that there will be some big issues to deal with, with the possibility of her character going to New York, but they'll definitely be returning in full force as a couple.
5. Only one tribute. We caught wind of a rumor back in June that the Glee producers were working on one (and only one) big tribute episode this season. Ryan Murphy has confirmed that's still in the cards. I'm sticking to my hunch that it's either The Beatles or Billy Joel.

'Glee' season 3 spoilers about Klaine: Is Blaine transferring?
Amidst all the Glee graduation talk, there was also news of new series regulars—Darren Criss and Harry Shum Jr.—meaning there's more coming from the couples of Kurt and Blaine and Tina and Mike. What's coming up for Klaine in the season 3 premiere?
According to TVLine, "Kurt spends a decent portion of the season premiere urging his teenage dream to transfer to McKinley." It certainly wouldn't be a surprise if Blaine did transfer and join New Directions, especially since he's a series regular now, and then the question would only remain: is he a senior? Could he be graduating along with Kurt and heading to New York as per Kurt and Rachel's plan from the season 2 finale? With Chord Overstreet not returning as Sam, there is that spot open for a male member of glee club, so Blaine could always slide right in to that vacancy. Having Kurt and Blaine at the same school would give the series a chance to explore what happens next more so than it would if Blaine stays at Dalton. It could also give them a chance to look at how Karofsky reacts to seeing them together every day. How would everyone treat them? Would they be in store for more of what happened at junior prom—the student body electing Kurt prom queen? Even if so, he showed that he can stand up for himself.

'Glee': Season 3 Spoilers and What the Cast Wants to See
The Hollywood Reporter caught up with several of the series’ stars to discuss what’s ahead – and what they hope to see their characters tackle in the upcoming season of the Fox musical dramedy.
JANE LYNCH (Sue Sylvester)
“My character is continuing her campaign for Congress on the Sue Sylvester American Liberty Ticket and she’s going to be more right-wing than Michele Bachmann, at this point,” Lynch told THR at the Television Critics Association summer press tour in Beverly Hills last week.
Will part of the campaign include more torture for Will (Matthew Morrison)? With filming under way on the first episode of the season this week, Lynch was unsure just how much of a hard time the on-screen rivals would have but noted that it will always be a factor for the characters.
“I think it’s always going to be there because it’s her lower self and she operates from her lower self,” Lynch said of the duo’s relationship. “I think they have that kind of relationship and it can go on and on that way with that love-hate thing.”
LEA MICHELE (Rachel Berry)
With visions of New York likely still dancing in her head, Michele teases that Rachel will continue to do what she’s always done: be obsessed with Broadway. “I know that she’s going to be in the school musical,” Michele told THR at TCA. “I have some awesome story lines with Darren Criss, Chris Colfer and I’ll be singing a lot of Broadway, as always.” What do you think McKinley’s school musical will be?
NAYA RIVERA (Santana Lopez)
To come out or not to come out, that’s the biggest question for Santana going in to Season 3 and Rivera is hopeful that her pinkie-holding alter-ego won’t remain in the closet.
“We just got the first script and she might have made some adjustments to her life,” Rivera teased THR at TCA, noting that since Santana is a senior, she assumes she’ll be graduating. “The way the seasons go, people start off one way and they have a transition. She’ll probably end up coming to terms with everything by the end – hopefully.”
Take from that what you will.
JENNA USHKOWITZ (Tina Cohen-Chang)
At Comic-Con, Ushkowitz learned she was a junior, and, in the press room following the Glee panel, said she’d like to see more screen time with Michele’s Rachel. “They started a little bit of that friendly competition in Season 1 with the whole West Side Story thing when she left the glee club,” she said. “That dynamic has not been established yet, that’s what I want to see.”
HARRY SHUM JR. (Mike Chang)
Shum noted that Mike has had limited interaction with Lynch’s Sue Sylvester and said at Comic-Con that he’d like share more screen time with the surly cheerleading coach.
“Sue Sylvester had some punches at Mike Chang, saying, ‘There’s one person I hate every week, and this week it’s that dancing Asian,’ ” he recalled. “I don’t think I’ve ever done a scene-scene with her where she’s just going off on Mike Chang. I think it’d be hilarious.”
DARREN CRISS (Blaine Anderson)
At Comic-Con, fans learned that Criss and Colfer’s Blaine and Kurt are on solid ground, and in the press room Criss said that he hopes Blaine remains a Dalton Academy Warbler. “I Love going to Dalton,” he said. “I’ve become quite close with the Warbler boys and think it’s a cool dynamic to have two different schools, especially if Kurt and Blaine are dating.”
