It's a two-way street, buddy. Just because YOU are never happy, doesn't mean those who are happy are blind. The difference here is that you and other people seem to never be happy, so it's easy to assume that y'all just expect too much. There's a difference between being constructive and whining about how she's not using professional directors, not putting out hits, not going #1, etc. Some of us don't care about that and love that she's staying true to herself and practicing what she preaches. Some of us don't need huge videos and #1 singles because we don't like Gaga because we can brag about her being the best, we like her because she's an amazing woman who just so happens to make amazing music. I will criticize her when she needs to be criticized (TEoG video), but I'll be damned if I will keep bitching about the same **** over and over again. That's all in the past. Let's focus on Y&I right now and stop worrying about the past.
This post sums up everything perfectly. Gaga makes music that I adore and has a personality that is to die for. She treats us (her fans) like no other artist and her live performances are almost always flawless. For that reason, I stan for her.

Sadly, a lot of fans seem to only like/stan/love her when she's on top and they can brag.
I don't think anyone is trying to say we shouldn't complain when we're upset about something, but I do sense that a lot of the time people enjoy complaining for the sake of complaining, when there really isn't much wrong with what she has done.

Don't try and tell me you only like her because she puts out good music. You can like her music, but you don't stan for someone based only on the music. I became stan because of the whole package Gaga embraces: good music, good videos, good performances and an original fashion taste (and I must not forget her exceptional fan treatment). I give a **** whether she gets #1s or not. And of course I don't expect much, who did actually expect much after the The Edge of Glory video fiasco? Damn lord, I'm still impressed at how good the Yoü and I video is, is it SOOOO wrong to say she should hire professional directors? Is it wrong to point out some of the aspects she could easily improve?
