Well I remember Joseph tweeting something like 'One simple rule with me, I direct the video, and I only. One artist, one canvas' (don't quote me, it was similar to that) so it seems he wanted to do it by himself too and maybe Gaga felt she couldn't get any ideas across because he was being so stubborn.
I don't want to bring this back up though, just saying.

Exactly, and all of the delusional Gaga fans turned on Gaga and blamed her wanting HER SONG to have HER VISION. There's absolutely nothing wrong with Gaga wanting to have control over the art she puts out. People expect good videos, yet don't want her directing them. She will only get better as time passes, but no one wants to give her time to get better.
There was NO problem with the Judas or Y&I video, and the biggest reason people shat themselves over TEoG video was because THEY had their expectations high since THEY found out about the original concept.

Please God, no. At this point the most shocking thing she could possibly do is turn up looking completely normal, but great like she was the other week.
But no, looks like we're getting a dress made out of frozen *** and ketchup.

Except, not really. What we don't think is shocking is actually shocking to the general public. We're used to it, so it doesn't shock us.
