ET is a Dr. Luke song, so it wasn't a risk. Firework was incredibly pop and catchy, so it wasn't a risk. NOTHING Katy has done has ever been considered "risky".

I do agree Katy Perry is probably the dominant force in pop music right now. It's a sad day for music though, and it really shows why people have such low regard for pop.
