What utter nonsense. It's an absolutely fantastic album. The best pop album in at least 5-6 years, possibly longer.

LMAO!! Its not her best and never will be. She can do MUCH MUCH better than this. The album is decent sometimes depending on how im feeling but its not all what she hyped it up to be.
Bad Kids needs to be a single like Gaga said its not about chart success its about the music and im tried on her releasing the singles on the album i do not like.. thats all

She not just going to release what you want, and to be quite frank, you have the worst taste I've seen when it comes to this album.

I think her music gets better with each album. Born This Way really solidified my stan status. It's just so different than anything out right now. It's refreshing.

Sometimes you can make a record that has a message while still giving people who just want to listen to fun dance music something as well.

EXACTLY!
JessPop, you're saying you want fun music that has a message, yet you don't like an album that is comprised of nothing but fun music with message. THAT is what makes your comments illogical.

Ok. I'm home from work and this thread is a mess.
First of all, Dance in the Dark is an amazing track. It's a bit overrated within the stanbase here; however, it is still a great song (it has that amazing bridge that is similar to Madonna's "Vogue").
Secondly, The Fame is a "generic" album compared to The Fame Monster and Born This Way. However, it was a very unique album to be quite honest. It had several generic tracks of course, but it was still a gem.
The Fame Monster is deliciously dark, industrial, and pretentious. It has some of her best tracks.
Born This Way is GaGa doing what GaGa wants to do. That's what the album's all about. Doing what you want. Expressing you, the real you. Being true to yourself, being you. Therefore, it only makes sense that GaGa just does what she wants to do no matter what during this era. It's her freedom album. Everybody needs to lay off her decision making this go-round.
We know Gaga is talented, and is beyond her contemporaries when she wants to be (and with the right help).
Next, You and I is an amazing single, and everyone needs to chill. The VMAS are coming this coming week, and we all need to just wait patiently. The promo will serve its purpose. Furthermore, this radio success that GaGa is having is seemingly unprecedented. We need to remain realistic, and be grateful radio has clung to it so early (which is in my opinion due to the momentum built up by The Edge of Glory's success, how ironic).
Oh, and Electric Chapel is a nice album track and not filler.
Bloody Mary is a masterpiece and is not a filler as well. Get into it.
Heavy Metal Lover, Government Hooker, and Scheisse are among the most valuable gems on the record. Deal with it.
Marry The Night is far from boring. It is one of the "signature" GaGa songs that GaGa said would be on the record in the PopJustice interview. Quit complaining.
GaGa did some new stuff with Born This Way while keeping some of her own stylistic quirks. I personally love the things that make her songs a "GaGa" song.
Also, Judas does not have a weak chorus. The chorus is explosive, and was an amazing hit in the clubs. People should quit trying to come for it because it won't do you any good.
Oh, and welcome to all new monsters!

While I agree that this album could have been better since there are some flaws in some songs I think it's definitely better (by far...) than the TF and slightly better than TFM. From TF I only love 4 songs and from TFM 5 songs, but from BTW I love 10/14 songs which is great. And if you think Bad Kids is a better song than MTN or Scheisse, well...
You should just check the reception it's had within the fanbase .

There are at least 3 or 4 UTTER **** songs on that album. Talking nonsense over some repetitive beat for 4 minutes is not a song.
