new deets on lady gaga mtv announcement
Just a few more hours!!!! The antici-pation is KILLING us!!!!
For the past few days, we've been VERY curious and excited about Lady GaGa's big MTV announcement, and the rumor was that she might be hosting the VMAs.
Now, it's looking like her big announcement may NOT be that she's hosting the Video Music Awards…and there's a NEW rumor about what GaGa might tell us tonight!
Nothing's been confirmed…but she MAY be announcing that MTV is doing an Amy Winehouse tribute…and that she's performing in it!!!!!
I, I wish that I could dance on a single prayer.
I, I wish I could be strong without somebody there.
I, I wish that I could dance on a single prayer.
I, I wish I could be strong without the scheiße, yeah.
Right now, it's fine, in my opinion. She should get about 6/7 spins on each station, which follows the trend of the past few days. In the next few weeks, I hope it starts upping to 8/9 spins and then, hopefully, power rotation will follow

And why people need to repeat the same **** over and over again? boring and pathetic
Meh, it's fine. If this were 20 years ago I imagine some people would have been freaking out when they saw Like a Prayer selling only half of what Like a Virgin/True Blue did and having no #1 after the lead single (whereas True Blue had three) and saying Madonna had lost the plot and should stick to being another ordinary pop star like Paula Abdul who racked up six #1 singles in a row and saw better album sales in the US at the time. Some people just want pop stars to stay basic when they see any sort of diminishing returns because they "must be doing something wrong."
Don't Forget That The Adds Date Is August 23rd, So Basically Anything Nowadays Is Great

Sometimes I miss the desperation that Gaga puts on the VMA performance of Paparazzi in the original song, those flawless screamed vocals. Don't you, also?
