If you're speaking as recent as 2009, that material didn't do well because it wasn't even entirely him.

Well we can't think Missy really gave this remix much of a boost. And Siedah wasn't a completely unknown name. She was connected with The Temptations, Madonna, and others prior to working with Michael. He didn't just choose some broad to work with. But I understand what you're trying to get across.

Invincible sold about 8-10 million copies. That's low for Michael, but not exactly flopping.
