Great video! I think the mermaid scenes could have been done better because she didn't really swim around at all. The visuals were awesome but the story was kind of convoluted imo. This video is still great overall though and miles better then TEOG.
Yeah totally I wish they had a scene where Yuyi was in an aquarium swimming around
It looks really well made and it's astonishing. Some shots are just but, again, i just don't understand the point of it. Is there a concept? Can someone explain it to me?

The difference between this & Telephone is that this all comes together. After watching it a 2nd time, you see why every scene is there. I get the feeling that the girl on the piano is the "naive/childish" part of GaGa's life. Then you have robo-GaGa (being programmed to do things), experiment GaGa, & mermaid Gaga. I think my favorite part was the end when he's cuddling her in the bathtub. IDK why though. Anyways, its a fantastic video. One of her best for sure. I also loved that coreography. Wish it was in there more though.
I'm still trying to piece together the storyline though.
I think the video is reflecting on all the different 'parts' of Gaga and there is no straight forward storyline because they all exist together, just like Gaga & Stefani do so the scenes also exist together. I think she might also 'rediscover' herself in the video. At the start the aged, robo-Gaga is given the doll and ice cream, and at the end the same Gaga sings the lines "It's been a long time but I'm back in town, and this time I'm not leaving without you". Rather than referring to a lover maybe she's referring to the younger, more naive Gaga we see at the piano. Maybe she's even bridging the two by having Jo Calderone in the scene too...
