Nonsense. The editing is apalling. Too many cutaways. Too many difference scenes. It's not at all clear what's going on.
The cinematography is banal and generic. At least TEOG had a gorgeous *look*.
I agree that the Haus has proven that they basically lack the talent, vision, experience (whatever you want to call it) to pull off a truly successful video.
But there was nothing gorgeous about The Edge Of The Universal Studios Lot *look.*
I think this is a very important video for Gaga. I don't know about everyone else, but for me this video has Gaga more accessible then she's ever been, even with the experimentation and mermaid stuff. The parts where she's smiling and running around in the cornfield and the scene where she playfully pushes Jo away, it's showing a much softer, fun Gaga, especially compared to her videos post-Telephone.
This video, tied with her classy look of late and the possibility of hosting the VMAs, might be the unveiling of a newer Gaga, one a bit more restrained, while still keeping her kooky sensibilities.
They need to upload it on VEVO, because that's when sites, will write articles about it.
Can't wait for the critics. When they liked TEOG video, what will they think of that?
It was ****ing beatiful!!! AMAZING! Really the best since Telephone! Anyone criticzing the editing or anything else is just not being honest!! It's beautiful: It's in my top 4 w/ Bad Romance Telephone and BTW!
Stunning video. Visually, aesthetically gorgeous and the characters and story are amazing. There's so many analysations of the video already, I'll need to watch it some more times to cast my own thoughts on the message/s. Wow, Gaga truly delivered with this one.
