This sounds harsh, and maybe it is a little, but the collection of stills is better than the actual video. There's a seriously great video in there somewhere dying to get out, but once again, the direction and editing are below par. I'm sure there's a story being told in the video, but it just comes across like an endless succession of images(some interesting, some cliched, some naff).
It's far better than the video for TEOG, but for me, the Haus has shown once again that they can't direct a great video. Not even close. I'd LOVE to have seen the outcome if this had been directed by someone who really knows what they're doing.

This. All of this!!! My eyes were glued to the screen. I'm waiting for the official VEVO link though so I can watch it again. There's so much going on.

I actually think the directing in regards to camerawork is pretty good for this video.

I agree. Editing ruined 'Judas' and it ruined this.
She needs to get actual video directors.

The story is as messy as Bad Romance.
Amazing visuals. I'm in love.

I really enjoyed the video!! I would probably say it TIES Judas or edges a tad ahead, for best video of this era. It will get attention, which is SUPER important for this single in particular.
I understand the critiques of people saying there is no cohesion, but I don't think that is due to poor editing, rather a decision made on purpose. The Haus directed the Judas Video, and it is very cohesive.
It is for sure complex, but please don't complain about this as the alternative is a super boring TEOG vid.
YouAndI=Judas >>> BTW>>>>>>>>> TEOG
