The fact that they found that a significant amount of Twitter users are black. However, what is the reason? Why are a significant amount of Twitter users black? All those reasons are speculation until you do further studies, but I don't think my theories were out of line or racist.

Black population is larger in cities. Many black people living in those cities are at or below poverty. Not all black people, but a large portion. I'm not mentioning any other race because that wasn't the focus of the study.

This article is not racist. There's some negative racial stereotyping, but this isn't racist. It's an established fact that America's LEAST educated group of people are Black Americans, so this isn't really THAT large of a stretch. The wording was presented terribly and unprofessionally for such an obviously controversial study BUT the study in it itself is not racist. We all have the liberty to voice our opinion, but let's not overreact.
