That's being unfair on your part...You are depriving Christina's fans to celebrate something where the name of Christina is attached. Fans celebrated The Voice's breakthrough on TV, Christina was part of it....she's part of the success. No matter how small or big one's part is, when your name is attached to a thing, you are bound to go with how it does. Weren't people trying to discredit Xtina with the little successes of Burlesque by saying it was because of Cher....Cher had a smaller role than Xtina...but Cher is part of what the movie accomplished.
It's really hard to explain to people with personal hatred towards Christina. It's a trend...which I hope Xtina will overcome when she comes out with her own material. For now, I think it is but fair if people like you would give it to Christina's fans if they do get happy for MLJ's success. She has nothing released now except that, of course all the attention of the fans will be on MLJ.

Well how was I supposed to understand it? Red is the color for down/stop and green is the color for up/go, and the numbers didn't represent red.

She was NEVER going to release a new album anyway. How many times has she said on Twitter that the Loud era isn't over and it will have a continuation with new music? Have you looked at her tour schedule? It's absolutely impossible for her to release a completely new album "this fall" (like she said) while she'll be in Europe the entire time.

Wasn't information on Only Girl/Loud leaking at the end of her LGOE Tour? And then her shooting her movie. She even continued that tour during this era, LOL. I don't think impossible is the word. Maybe illogical, as there'd be another 8+ weeks of her not promoting as she did with the start of this album.
Cheers is doing way better than S&M did before the video dropped.
It's a good thing. S&M was actually my favorite of the album, Cheers following behind.. but for some reason once it became a single I just wasn't that into it anymore, and Cheers replaced it.. now once I heard it was a single whenever it was announced, I played it and loved it more than ever.. so I'm extremely happy that it's moving up quickly without a video, promo, etc.. but hopefully she better not release a concert video like some have been saying she will. That will probably effect her rise.
I think there's a possibility for Cheers to top OG in the US (cause feel-good song like that always showing great longevity), but worldwide no, OG was the 1st single of "Loud & smash everywhere at the same time ... Only the 1st single of the reedition who's coming can top that ...
Britney, Katy, and Rihanna are at their worst singles to date.
Britney's is one of her best, as well as Rihanna. Katy's is probably her worst, besides 'Ur So Gay'. It's still a great song but it got old shortly after turning into a single.
