I suggest the name ‘The Beast’. After all, this is the nickname Alex has given to her stage persona and the fans are lapping it up, despite somewhat unflattering connotations.

The Beast certainly means business when it comes to pleasing fans. And that’s why she’s keen to let me know of her plans for world domination, by touring and maybe one day teaming up with her idol, Beyonce.
“I’m in the process of planning my tour. There’s definitely going to be a tour next year. I really wanted to open Beyonce’s last tour for her but my first album wasn’t ready at the time. You never know though, one day we might do a duet. God willing.
“I can’t wait to go to the States next year and hopefully do loads of promo. My biggest dream is to break the States.”

Well you will have to deal that Alex loves Broken Heels(Start without you) type of songs a lot more than this 'normal' stuff...I dont think that shes going to release ballad very soon again

I have yet to hear something from Alex that I don't like.
It seems that the song is already decided and will have it's worldwide radio premiere in a couple of weeks. It will be played in August definitely. The song is either a duet (She has collaborated with Usher, Ne-Yo and Bruno Mars) or a solo song. It will probably be from Rico Love, who strongly worked with her on this album and I think he's executive producer too.
One song is produced and written by Michael Woods, who is responsible for Example's Changed The Way You Kiss Me. He co-wrote the song with Marlene Strand and Gavin Jones. It could be very well his song too, that got chosen as the first single. He has described the song as "underground" and "clubby".

When I made this thread I knew that there wouldn't be many members posting, but even though she has no stans on ATRL, there are still many fans who wanna know about her new album and single, so it doesn't matter to me that I'm running this thread by myself.
And yes, I think she should release a duet for the single, if it's someone like Usher or Bruno Mars, but I'm not here for an unknown rapper or another collabo with Pitbull for that matter. A duet would raise the chance of her getting a hit in the US and that would be really cool. It's her dream to make it there and I'm absolutely sure when she makes it in America, she will have a very long career there.

She can release a duet for her 1st US single but we know that US thing is coming next year so there is no point discussing about that.....solo for UK and Europe could be cool.....

Alex said on a recent twitter Q&A session, that we will hear her new single "very" soon and that it will come sooner than we expect. We still don't know the name of the song and if it'll be the duet or a solo song. Either way, I'm really excited and they should hurry up and premier it on radio as long as I'm not on vacation yet.

Dont worry, considering there is little to no news about the actual album or the single its doing amazingly well.
