Finally an Alternative band cracked the top 5!!! oh my, I hope more people buy alt. songs. but maybe it's because "Pumped Up Kicks" is so damn catchy. even the lyrics are ****ed up.

Regardless, it's amazing to see a song like Pumped Up Kicks smash on iTunes and pop radio. Hopefully, this diversity in the top 10 will last awhile

They discount her songs when they peak on charts, when they sell many million. Or more years old songs,like many other artist are doing. Or they're part of iTunes special feature.

Yeah...I mean we have seen within the past year a 99 cent discount on a song on the verge of number one push that song to the peak of the top. I think people need to calm their ******* down before they get hypocritical.
Whatever you have to say.. If a song tops Hot 100, it's because it's a hit..
Doesn't matter if the song was discounted.. So? If people don't like the song, the don't buy it! If people really like it and it's discounted.. Why not buy the song?
Anyway, she won't go to #1 just because of the sales.. The incredible airplay is included
