I still want a studio version of the WMN? Tour version. That beat gives me life.

Yes, it doesn't make sense.
What I want Rihanna to do for the EP is a song, like "Man Down", but more tribal, bongos etc. I really found the Barbados festival interesting and learning about all the different dance moves that are part of the natural Carribean heritage. I forgot the dance names... but the whole thing looked really fun and I want to go to Barbados one day just to see this festival in real life.
I love "Man Down" and "What's My Name?" because they are an electro-pop/electro R&B auditory representation of Rihanna's culture. I would love Rihanna to take the electro away and have a raw, tribal, reggae song that really shows Rihanna's culture. It would give fans an even better understanding of Rihanna, I think.

That reggae beat at the end is life! Stargate should've made the album version like that

All very well said and very true. I myself also want Rihanna to do more electro-R&B/ska/reggae songs just so her fans can peer into her culture and heritage. It's also something very Rihanna to do. No one else releases ska songs (well they didn't before WMN? ), and by doing so Rihanna really has her niche, her sound. Of course I still want her to release songs with all different genres included, like she does now, but I love that she adds more Caribbean flavor to each album she releases. It's very authentic and it's becoming very Rihanna, which is always a good thing (to have your own trademark sound).

Ugh, I had typed this ****in' essay as a reply, it was really good, and my internet stuffed up and I lost the essay and now I have to write it again.
I don't mind when artists release ska songs recently, it is such a nice change to all the other stuff on the charts... and honestly all the ska/island influenced songs sounds almost as good as each other. But what I enjoy is the fact that whenever an artist releases a ska song now, everyone jumps on them and starts saying "Rihanna rip off!". This is proof that Rihanna has really established this sound for herself, and that is what I love about Rihanna, she is trendsetter, not only fashion-wise, or hair-wise, but music-wise, too.
I mean, Beyonce will always be known for her R&B music. But so will Keri Hilson, Kelly Rowland, Chris Brown, and Usher.
Britney Spears will always be known for her Pop music, yet Lady GaGa, Ke$ha, Katy Perry and even Rihanna herself (to an extent) will be, too.
Yes, a lot of people are releasing ska music right now, but they seem to be doing just a single song... Rihanna is the only person right now who has actually embraced ska/reggae as her own genre, (Sean Paul has, too, but compared to Rihanna, no one knows him). Over Rihanna's career, I would love Rihanna to highlight this even more than what she does now, because it is her culture's sound. When Rihanna retires (something that shouldn't happen until she is like, 40... not even then) I hope that she is known as the Queen of Ska/Reggae.

I feel really bad. I want to say something profound in response since this took you so long and is so well said and thought-out, but I totally agree. I want it to be Rihanna's trademark and I love that it's becoming that.

You don't have to say something profound, haha.
I was thinking, if Rihanna does an 8 song EP, that will probably mean that we will get a few collabs. I am thinking we will get 2, but I wouldn't be surprised if Rihanna managed to put 3 collabs on an 8 song EP.
I don't really know who I want as a collab, but I do know who I don't want.
Kanye West - I like Kanye, I really do, but he seems to only perform his best either in Jay-Z's presence or by himself. His features, to me, seem a bit awkward.
Ke$ha - I have said this before, and I will say it again. I wouldn't mind for this collab to happen, I just don't want it on the EP. I don't think it would highlight the full potential of Ke$ha if she features for just 1 verse or the chorus.
Lil Kim - To me she can't sing, can't rap, and the way she made "Black Friday"...
Has anyone heard Black Friday's "Cheatin'"? Kim just sings over Rihanna's 'Man Down'... and its not even singing, I mean, even Ke$ha doesn't use that much autotune.
Lil Wayne - I don't really take his music too seriously because he features on EVERYONE's songs. I mean, to me it just looks like a desperate attempt to stay relevant, and I don't want him using Rihanna like that.
Ludacris - NO THANKYOU. I'm not liking these song *****s, who are on everything.
Snoop Dogg -
No thankyou. Aside from his not-so-attractive looks, he is also becoming a song-*****. And the way he ditched Hip-Hop to make Pop inspired music... just to make a hit.
If Rihanna is to do a collaboration, I want duets. I am hear for the featuring artist to actually own half the song. Not just appearing for a verse and disappearing.

I would not be against a Kanye collaboration, but I agree with all of the others. I personally never want Rihanna to collaborate with Ke$ha, though.
I'd love a Kanye collaboration, another Drake collaboration, and either a Cheryl Cole or a Katy Perry collaboration from Rihanna in the future. I'm unsure of when and how, though.

Why wouldn't you want Rihanna and Ke$ha to do a song?
Drake would be good again, but since WMN? exists, I think I am here for Rihanna doing her hip-hop cameo magic and featuring on one of his songs, not the other way around.
Yes! Cheryl Cole and Katy would be extremely interesting, and these are the type of people in which Rihanna would have to do a duet with. Especially Katy. Rihanna and Katy are two big names, it would be stupid for one of them to appear on a verse and then disappear.
I would also like Nicki and Rihanna to be frequent collaborators. They make good music, (not the best, but they can only get better) and they get along great.
I am actually here for a Drake, Nicki, and Rihanna collab. Did someone say SMASH?

I don't think they would mesh well.
I'd love for Rihanna to have a feature on Take Care but I'd also love for them to collaborate frequently. Same with Nicki. Nicki and Rihanna and Drake and Rihanna are two great pairings and I'd love to hear more from them. I wouldn't be against collaboration albums between each.
Cheryl and Rihanna would be magic together. I could live with a Katy and Rihanna one. I'd also adore a Beyonce-Rihanna collabo, but I doubt it would ever happen.

Raining Men sucks? What don't you like about it? I agree, its not the best song off LOUD, but it definitely doesn't 'suck'. Nicki's 'ah ah ah, ah ah ah, ah ah ah' during the chorus are so addictive!
And have you heard the lyrics to Fly? Its so inspirational! Rihanna sounds so graceful!
How people don't like these songs... I don't understand.

Raining Men is not very good, but still better than CKB in my opinion.
Fly is AWESOME! It must be a single and I must see that video.

Fair enough.
+1 for everything you said about Drake and Nicki!
Rihanna and Beyonce would be so weird. Beyonce would upstage Rihanna, I believe, in either Rihanna/Beyonce or Beyonce/Rihanna. They are so similar, too. It would definitely have to be a club banger if it is to work, as it would sound like Telephone, rather than Video Phone. Its VERY hit and miss, though.
