I think the writer is using albums/records interchangeably, he uses record sales for some and albums for some. Either way, it's safe to say all of the women have sold over 100 million records.

A French article said she sold 155 million records, that is including singles, albums, cassettes, videos, ringtones and more. I find that credible.

Just in the US she sold 70 million and another 15 million from the UK.

But Inside Out has a beat like nothing on radio, so that works i it's favor.
