Gaga followed Nicole the day she stopped stanning for her with that whole essay and now this..? I think Gaga has been kept very much aware of who Nicole is for a while now..

Her name is HausofNicole, her twitter icon and layout is Lady Gaga. Gaga's been following her for quite some time. She's not dumb, Gaga's more internet savvy than most of you guys think. She knows Nicole is a fan and most likely likes to hear all her opinions.
Gaga even said 'Born To Slay' in one of those little webisodes.  She knows it all.

It was a point to be made. Most people said she said those to get her attention. That is, indeed, true, but that obviously was not the whole point of the message.
