You and I is the next single, but its not a "new" single yet because it hasn't been released. TEOG is the current single, that much is obvious.
Its different in a situation like Rihanna has at the moment. The last single she released, California King Bed, flopped and radio isn't playing it, so therefore its not her "current" single seeing as it has no currentness. But now that Cheers, her next single has a release date everyone is jumping on it.
GaGa's situation is different.
. I'm fine with the video being released at that time. Probably a week earlier, to get a boost from it, then a week later from VMAs.
