& It's not a surprise that these latest performances of Y&I havn't sent the song skyrocketing on Itunes. She has already made as much sales from Y&I as she can from performances, so don't expect The View to have much impact either. The song won't start selling until its actually getting played on the radio and that won't be for at least a few more weeks.

It went from 400ish to 187 from last night's promo.
It's skyrocketed to me.
The way GaGa has this going, the singles are really quite simultaneous.
She's already announced that it's the next single and is doing promo, is that not official enough? It just hasn't been formally sent to radio; radio is picking it up on its own. Nothing wrong with giving You and I the early support it'll need.
For pop radio, The Edge of Glory is gone, peaked, and will not be resurrected. With that being said, the other formats, HAC/AC will give it much deserved longevity (and even at that pop radio isn't letting go of it entirely).
The Edge of Glory is not the only single that has had another single at its tail. Look at Paparazzi/BAd romance. Look at Bad romance/Telephone. It's not uncommon.
