Celeb News: Rihanna names the girls who run the world

I say this as a HUGE Britney fan...but BritBrit ain't running **** right now. Her singles are doing really well in airplay in America compared to her other albums, but that's about it in terms of massive success. The tour is successful but not the bona fide sold out mega-seller that was Circus. The album has underperformed all over the world in terms of sales and internationally singles 2 and 3 have failed to make a major impact.
The gorls who run dis mutha are really:
Lady Gaga
Adele
Rihanna
Katy Perry
Maybe Beyonce (if it were 2009, but it's not)

Hypocrisy kill me. This bitch is paying your faves a compliment and the only thing you can do is find something to be negative about. That's what I called pressed. I don't give a **** how many albums, singles, endorsements, etc a person has, cockyness is cockyness. If I was sitting on top of the world I would be cocky as **** too and not give a damn whether you cosigned it or not; however,i I don't think Ri is as cocky as many of these other artists. Certain artists talk about themselves and their music like it's Jesus' second becoming. Some artists are crowning themselves queen and king. Some artists act like their allergic to their fans. I'm not calling any names, but I just find it hypocritical when bitches are in here preaching humility and humbleness and they stan for some of the cockiest hoes in the industry. Since when is it wrong to pat yourself on the back for your achievements? Yes it's ok to say it outloud. Ri stays complimenting the likes of GaGa, Katy, Beyonce, Britney, etc. and she includes herself amongst the group and it's outrage. Gtfoh. She didn't even say SHE was running it solo. Basic reasoning and comprehension shows they're sharing the glory. How is that having an ego?
I actually commend her for naming a few names. Everything doesn't always have to be so cookie cutter. I'd rather keep it real and be true to myself, instead of continuosly cutting corners, keeping it cute, and being classy. Id rather go down in history for being myself instead of being what everyone wanted me to be or what everyone thought was right. Whether you liked me or not, I could give two ****s. People going to hate whether you're doing bad or good.
Ill end by saying, y'all be saying your faves are in their own lane, but be quick to compare them to someone else. Where's the logic in that?

Rihanna loves Britney. There is no need to mention her because she has already earned her status as legend.

Interestingly enough, it's non-Britney fans who remain most bothered by Ke$ha's supposed digs at the legendary Miss Britney Spears. Maybe this is a testament to the forgiving nature of the army. Maybe this is a testament to the **** stirring nature of the Monsters and company.
Ke$ha has apologized and attempted to give an explanation to rectify the situation. I question her decision to comment on the matter at all. In my mind, an apology isn't necessary for something that isn't really that offensive. It's a playful and possibly unnecessary namedrop, but the actual offensive value of the "Britney Who?" bit is, in my mind, highly debatable. I'm begging someone to listen to the track, consider what's actually being said in verse/chorus, and then consider how the theme presented corresponds to the supposed Britney dis. Taken out of context, most will interpret "In ten years, Britney Spears... Britney who?" as some silly attempt by Ke$ha to assert her dominance over the industry and announce the downfall of the Queen of Pop. No, that sort of arrogance and delusion does not exist in this track. This track simply details the fact that nothing lasts forever; your ****** feelings will subside, your sucky relationship will end, and yes, even things that to us seem so culturally relevant and indispensable may not be remembered. As far as I'm concerned, it's a compliment of the highest honor that Britney, a girl who has had incredible staying power and is such a icon of our times, would be Ke$ha's go-to example to illustrate her point. It seems bizarre to us to imagine a world where Britney Spears is a nobody, but what Ke$ha sings is the truth; one day Britney Spears will be a nobody, though it seems unfathomable because she's BRITNEY ****ING SPEARS. It's not so much an insult directed at Britney as it is a clever/humorous way to bring the message full-circle.
And while we're here, that other minor controversy where Ke$ha denounced lip-syncing and therein "shaded" Britney because the question, as it was posed to Ke$ha, mentioned Ms. Spears specifically is significant of nothing. Ke$ha was sufficiently vague in her response, only saying that she disagreed with lip-syncing. Do as Ke$ha would do; hate the lip-syncing, not the lip-syncer. She was set up to insult Britney, but I think she maneuvered around the trap with grace.

I understand the context in which she mentioned Britney, but she knew she would stir the pot with some remark like that. The fact that she uses Britney to illustrate her point seems like she doesn't respect her enough, because she's so quick declare to that Britney's legacy won't last even when Britney herself doesn't.

Sorry hun but she haven't wrote the song.

Girl we know this, we are just happy Britney is still successful and surpassing "her" own records of AirPlay! Call us when your fave keeps getting top tens and #1s in ten years.
Plus Britney hasn't done any promo anywhere in the world beside the lazy promo she does in the Us. And we all know one must do promo to succeeded world wide.
For example beyonce was set to flop in the Uk. But she performed/promo and her album went #1. I wish Britney would do promo. But we can't force her to. And the world knows that Britney is capable of destroying every chart, if only she did promo!!!!
And little miss Katy perry isn't ruining anything! She is only running things in the US. I love the girl, but we all know Katy is only big in the US.
The only girls running things internationally Are:
Rihanna
Gaga
Adele ( this era, but who knows next era).

I'm really sorry but Avril isn't running anything. I wish she was, but she's very clearly not anymore.

1) The Femme Fatale tour is out-grossing the Circus tour.
2) Single 2 & 3 failed to make an impact? Till the World Ends is now one of Britney's most successful singles to date & I Wanna Go is going to be top 10 making this Britney's first album to have 3 top 10 singles.
3) Her airplay is better than ever before.
Besides album sales she's is doing pretty damn amazing no matter what you think.

She was probably listing people off Mediatraffic's weekly album chart, hence the Britney snub.
