The thing is that they do. These people--like my mother--are the people who think that buying recorded music is a waste of money and just buy Christmas CDs. These people are the people--like my mother--who hear Adele and seriously consider buying her album.
Which is why people need to back the **** up, stop being selfish and complaining that the performances will be boring for the fans, and just live with it.
What's good is that it will appeal to an older generation that still has the tendency to go and buy albums. In this case, they'll probably do it in the hopes that there's another "You and I" type song on the album...until they hear the opening lyrics of HML.
But album sales for local acts in Japan are very frontloaded (Just like BTW in the US 
), so Gaga will most likely return to the top 5/10.
