Hey what do you guys think about Wait Your Turn and Only Girl?
I was thinking about it, and to me they are like Polar Opposites, and how cool it is that Rihanna is so diverse like that.
Both videos only feature her in the ENTIRE video. They're both the lead singles, albeit one was just promotional, and one is black and white, while the other is enhanced with red and vibrant colors. Also one is an upbeat dance song, while the other is an urban midtempo type song.
I hope you guys all know that Fly will never hit #1. Don't set yourselves up for disappointment.

But okay, so maybe it's a little much, but at least the videos. They both feature just her, but they both give off and reflect the attitude of each album. Like the black and white, cut blonde hair, eye patch, bad ass vibe

Video-wise, I agree. I think WYT was supposed to be the first single and then they randomly scrapped it last minute.

Well, Nicki clearly does well with pop-ish. If she releases it mid/late August, she and Rihanna can do a performance at the VMAs (even though Rihanna isn't supposed to go to the VMAs cause MTV is full of ****ery ). There's a big chunk of promo to get buzz around. An epic music video to come with it, the fact it just screams out "epic single," it all just makes sense that it'll do really well, maybe even hit #1 depending on what it's going up against around then.
This. I don't know what you guys see in that song. It literally has no hit qualities besides the fact that Nicki and Rih are the performers.
Does it have a good beat? No.
Does it have a catchy chorus? No.
Does any part of the song standout and give it appeal? No.
It's gonna flop, or "underperform".
I don't think it will flop. But I don't think it will hit #1.
I think after Cheers and Super Bass it will obviously have radio appeal. But Idk if it can reach #1. I think Navy is just so used to #1s at this point we expect every song to go #1, but CKB and Man Down should have been the lesson.....we can still FLOP miserably
