Alejandro was a better single choice than everything else left after Bad Romance & Telephone. That was the right decision. Monster was too much like her other prior singles & Dance In the Dark was not as radio-friendly as Alejandro. So Happy I Could Die's lyrics were too risky (which is saying a lot with the kinds of lyrics relating to sex on Top 40 radio), & Teeth had zero single potential.

Starstruck should have been released & so should Monster. Alejandro didn't need to see the light of day, an I don't particularly think Paparazzi should have either. Judas was an obvious flop, Marry The Night should have been second. This is another bad choice.

She loves to just to make it harder I guess. But Everything you said is true... and I would add any of SHICD, Dance in the Dark or Monsrter would habe been better than Alejandro... anyways it's her songs, so she does it her way...
