I'm so confused as to why any of you think waiting to release Cheers until after the rerelease/EP, a YEAR from now is a good idea? I see not one ounce of logic in that.
Do none of you recall that Rehab underperformed (compared to what it could have done) because of how late it was released? There is no point in releasing a single a year and a half after the CD it's on has been released.
Once again, and this is a problem a lot of you have, you need to stop being greedy. Rihanna nor Def Jam care that you want new music in a month. They are trying to maximize sales for Loud and it's singles, and this is the way to do it.

So sad about "California King Bed" & "Man Down" underperforming (in the US at least) they both had potential to be big hits but it was just bad timing. I hope Riri understands now that releasing 2 songs at the same time isn't a good idea. RIP
Now let's move on to the smash that is Cheers Navy!

cheers. Is. Not. Supposed. To. Be. Released. Now.
Why couldn't rihanna/def jam wait until the end of the era? Why did they have to release it to radio? Dvbweyivbihfebd
in a less violent response, i guess it might work. But we have to wait and see.

could you stop trolling the thread by saying the same **** every damn day. Cheers is being released. Accept it and move on.

with Te Amo they wanted to pull the same as with Hate That I Love You, I guess, since that also leaked Months before GGGB got released.

I honestly wanted Cheers to be released for next Summer, because I think it has the potential to smash. It probably will smash even though it is being released now. I just don't think that cutting short CKB's success (whether it would have had any, it looked like it was about to blow up) is very good to do what seems like a half-asked release of Cheers, almost like a "quick, lets just release this to prevent a flop". I personally think Cheers is too good for that, and that is why I wanted a proper, planned release for it.
But anyway, thats what I wanted and its obviously not what we are getting. So I guess we will have to sit back, deal, and watch Cheers either smash or flop. It looks promising though, so far.

I hardly think I'm trolling. I posted that message ONCE and my internet stuffed up and posted again. It wasn't intentional. And I'm not allowed to stand by my opinion, when a topic is brought up "every damn day"? This thred is very repititive in its topics, and as I don't want the thread to flop, I just re-word my opinion and post something again. I listen to what other's opposing views are, and I question it. I don't hate or attack. I just simply ask why they think that what they stand by would be best. Who knows, they might persuade me to drop my opinion and look at the topic differently.
Don't just single me out. Everyone does it.

It just gets kinda annoying when some navy members whine/complain about a decision on a daily basis. Ive read several of your posts throughout the week saying the same thing. I hate CKB and it should have never been released in the US. But i went along with it. But Ok cool

Omg where have you been? I've missed you in this thread!
Why thankyou, you are one of my favourite people on ATRL. You always have a detailed opinion and your posts are awesome to read. I enjoy our convos about album sales etc that we sometimes have in this thread.

I guess I am just passionate about my opinion, but if its annoying people, they will just have to deal.
Haha kidding, I will try to cut it down from now on. Only a little bit though.

Dont let haters get to you. And I've just been really busy haha. I had summer school 7 hours a day for the last two weeks haha so I've been unable to get on as frequently as I would like. But that should be different now...well at least until school starts haha.

And thanks for the advice.

Rihanna currently has a 10 day, then a month long break from touring.
Imma need her to get some promotion lined up in this timeframe.
