I never compared the two. Commercial success =/= a good album. Jazmine's album, as well as Raphael Saadiq's album both have some of the highest metacritic scores of the year.
You Bey fans kill me acting like she can't get compared to others music wise. Career wise yes she is leaps and bounds above Jazmine, but I'm sure many consider Jazmines music to be better than Beyonce's. Different strokes for different folks.
Commercial success a lot of times has to do with projects and artists having a full label backing, something Sullivan doesn't have.
I'm not trying tp bash Beyonce, because I like her and '4' is her best album since DIL, but her fans are harsh and irrational at times just as all fanbases, but the 'Beyhive' takes the cake. As much as I like 4, I don't consider it the best album of the year, especially in its respective genre R&B.
