Was it confirmed that all those elements will be in the video or was it a random "insider" who stated they were.

It's not confirmed of course. Though Gaga said there will be mermaids and we know they shot the video in Nebraska. Those alone don't really fit together without a storyline.

maybe it's two separate videos, one has yuyi and the other has the corn field , wasn't it confirmed she filmed some of the video in L.A..

Highway Unicorn is far from being horrible. Not her best, but there are nice parts! But the thing that bugs me about this song is that the "we can be strong" resembles the "can't read my" of Poker Face...
