Going over these two lists, I'm glad to know that everyone is in agreement than under no condition should SUAD or R101 ever been released. My list varies a little though
1. Umbrella - undeniable single, I can't imagine anyone would ever disagree with that choice
2. Don't Stop the Music - another undeniable hit, could've fared better earlier on
3. Breakin' Dishes - another uptempo to keep the momentum going, everyone was dying for this to be released
4. Rehab - I disagree with HTILY being the first ballad released. I think Rehab had much stronger appeal. It still hit Top 20 over a year after the CD came out. It would've smashed bad it been sent out earlier
The rerelease was perfection, TAB and Disturbia should've been released exactly when they were.
1. Wait Your Turn - I do not at all agree with RR being the first single. Everyone was anticipating a hard-hitting, catchy song from Rihanna after the long break. If RR pushed to #9 just based on her name despite few liking it, I imagine this would've as well, if not better. This was also the song used for all the promo before we heard anything, so I think it should've been the lead single.
2. Hard - I think this would've done better without such a controversial single preceding it.
3. Rude Boy - perfect as is
4. Photographs
5. Fire Bomb - a risky fan favorite, but like I've always said, a risky fan fave is the perfect song to end an era. If it would've flopped (which I don't think it would've given this lineup), then oh well, the era's over, but if it would've done well, it could've led to additional songs being released.
1. Only Girl
2. What's My Name
3. S&M
4. California King Bed - NO release of Man Down with it
5. Cheers
Move along to rerelease/EP/whatever.
