I think it depends on the turn out, if it gets sold out, they will most likley do more. Even if it doesn't sell out though, her gross will be one of her biggest she has ever had for one night. The capacity is that big.
i see thanks, and yeah big $$ will come from these dates!
Can someone start posting the radio links for us to request, I would love to get cracking on those Rhythmic stations, but I have no clue what they are!
What tragic news to wakeup to, "Amy Winehouse found dead at her apartment in London." Can we go back in time briefly? Nearly three years ago, Britney was fighting not just for her children in court, but for her sanity and LIFE in general. Her inner circle consisted all of leeches, leeches who only wanted to take take take, and further damage her deteriorating mental state. Our girl, Britney Jean Spears truly hit ROCK BOTTOM.
There were several events that led to her downward spiral. Britney sought PEACE away from the public's eyes after giving birth to Sean Preston, but no such wish would be granted. Every mistake and move she made as a new mother was followed and documented for the entire world to judge her by. Going to the press, she cried for everyone to just ease up on her in a interview with Matt Lauer. Request DENIED! Slowly her marriage fell apart and she sought legal counsel for the termination of her brief marriage. Soon an aunt dies, someone in who she always thought of as another mother of hers. Aunt Sandra finally caved to her long time battle with cancer, leaving behind a crushed family, one of whom was Britney. That hurt Britney more than anyone can imagine.
Our girl turned to partying to ease her pain and tried to live, she made terrible decisions along the way and surrounded herself with enablers. These people did not have one pure thought about her wellbeing at mind; they just wanted the fame and fortune she had to offer them. Look what her life became...a fishbowl for the world to follow and ridicule her for. Her supposed friends tipped off the paparazzi of Britney's daily schedule. Hundres of photographers camped out her home and followed Brit everywhere she went. They even chased her down on the interstate, causing car accidents along the way. Britney was always greeted with flash bulbs, blinding her sight of vision.
Rock bottom was reached on the evening of January 28, 2008. She lost the last bit of fight and sanity in herself and had a breakdown for the ages. We watched as our idol we grew up with was wheeled into the ambulance on a gunnery, looking lost and disoriented. That face! That face haunts us with your eyes so lost through the windows of the ambulance. The Associated Press (AP) had took the liberty of writing a eulogy in advance for when the thought she would kick the bucket.
The death....it never came. We watch Britney get better with the unconditional love and support provided by a family she loved so much, yet pushed away in her time of grief/pain. They helped her recuperate and find a new purpose in life. For the first time in a good while, she was LIVING and not just existing in this world. She fought away all her demons and risen from the ashes like a mythical Phoenix; flying high and free. She has a loving family, a loving boyfriend, supportive fans (through thick and thin), and lastly but not least....she has the two people that mean the most to her in the world, her sons. GOD IS GOOD, ALL THE TIME; ALL THE TIME, GOD IS GOOD!
Let's be thankful for something that could have been, but never happened. Let us send our deepest and heartfelt condolences to Amy Winhouse's family and friends. Let us hope that Amy has found the peace that Britney has and let us use this comeback as inspiration. When we feel our life has reached an end, dig deeper and FIGHT!
With Love,
Foxay
This was beautiful and made me cry.
I was gonna say something similar. I'm so grateful that Britney got the help that she needed. I'm so happy that God and her family pulled her out of the broken state that she was in. It's so refreshing to see her alive and well now. She's happy, she has a boyfriend, a successful tour, and two kids that she loves dearly. She deserves every bit of happiness that's handed to her.
Wow I sure as hell hope so, do you agree with this:?
1.Hold It Against Me
2.Till The World Ends
3.I Wanna Go
4.Up N Down
5.Inside Out
6.Trouble For Me
7.Big Fat Bass
but now thy I think about it, I really want Drop Dead Beautiful & Gasoline released as well, there's too many good tracks! I hate How I Roll, like HATE it. Criminal is amaIng but not really single material. Trip To Your Heart & Seal It With A Kiss can remain album tracks.
So sad about Amy. She had so much potential but couldn't overcome her demons.
It makes me so thankful that Britney had people in her life that fought for her to get better, that wouldn't take no for an answer. People who loved her more when she couldn't love herself enough to get better. I say this because it reminds me more and more of why I love Britney. She overcame struggles that "everyday" people have to overcome. To see her fall from grace only to rise with the love and support of her true friends, family and true fans, it makes me love her more.
I hope so! I want to see pics of her at Morumbi Stadium.
But even if she does go, a lot of musicians end up not playing at anywhere near the 90,000 capacity, it's usually half. But It is a great stadium! Beyonce's capacity of 52,000, so I'm sure Britney would have no trouble doing that as well, since this is such a huge deal she is coming.
MRKiNGFATALEXXX MR. KiNG FATALE XXX
Someone I know told me about a promotional cd thats going out to radios this week & on that cd is "Inside Out" it could be the next single!!
That would be AN AMAZING single choice, it'd be her first mid tempo in years

60k is its capacity. 90k+ was before they renovated it a long time ago.
Quote:
The Morumbi once held 120,000 seats, but now its maximum capacity is 67,428 seats. The playing field measures 108.25 metres (118.38 yd) x 72.70 metres (79.51 yd).
Why do you keep saying that? You DON'T KNOW. She's barely selling 80% in US arenas, what makes you think she can sell out stadiums in Latin America?
Because there is a huge interest in her appearance. Britney hasn't visited the country in ten years. Pop figures normally do well there and Britney has always been one of the bigger international Pop acts over there.
There is a difference between seeing Britney two years ago (US and Europe) than seeing her in ten years (for some, never).
