Her music video was viewed just as much if not even more than most of the other videos. If we are looking at the nomination based on the video itself, it's pretty clear she deserved a nomination.She was an Internet phenomenon...and I personally think that it is not right for MTV to have just ignored that. I'm pretty content with the nominations honestly. I wasn't expecting much for the awards anyways. I'm more excited for the line up of performers than anything.

I'm not a Rihanna stan by any means, but why wasn't "Man Down" nominated? Linkin Park only got one nomination? Also, very pathetic to see people talking trash about Beastie Boys when their video for "Make Some Noise" is the only nominee in Video of the Year that deserves to win. Haven't seen "Yonkers" but this is Beastie Boys we're talking about...

Yes, I was sure before the noms came out last night ATRL was going to be slow but everything was fast and speedy. Something tells me the Grammys are going to be a hard pill for some girls to swallow if the VMAs as them this upset.
